Fourth grade is creating a Hall of Honor for Texas Heroes. They will make a
bust of their hero, as well as design and write a plaque to describe their
hero's accomplishments. During Open House, each fourth grader will act as a

Print Resources
Check the
biography section of the library for books about Texas heroes. To search the
Online Catalog, click the button on the top left of this web page. Do a
subject search for your hero, making sure to type his/her last name first.

Handbook of Texas Online-
Click on the letter for your hero's last name; scroll through
the list to find your hero.
Lone Star Junction-
Look under "The Archives" and click on "People." Search for your
person in the alphabetical list.
