Check the 900's section of the library for books on American history. The print resources listed below (and many others) are on the library reserve cart.

	Take Ten Years series
	Timelines series
	The United States in the 20th Century
Web Sites
	20th Century History Timeline- Click on the decade for your year. This site contains major events for each year in the 20th century.
	America on the Move- Select your transportation type, your vehicle type, your era, and then click browse.
	Chronology of Boy's Clothing Styles- Scroll down to find your decade.
	dMarie Time Capsule- Type in a date (example, 10/14/1912), then choose Quick Page. This site has excellent information on prices, entertainment and current event headlines.
	Fact Monster by Learning Network- Type your year in the white box. Click go. Fact Monster will tell you current events, entertainment and invention (science) information.
	The Food Timeline- Scroll towards the bottom of this site to find when certain foods were invented. Click on the food's name to learn more about that food.
	History Central's 20th Century Year by Year- Click on your year for current events and other information.
	History Channel's Toys and Games Timeline- Click on the Timeline for details regarding when toys and games were developed.
	History of Invention- Use the horizontal scroll bar to move along the timeline of inventions.
	Time-Warp: Archiving Technology Through the Decades- Click on the numbers below to select your decade. Then click on the technology in the picture to learn more about it.
