  Science materials are typically located in the 500's range of the nonfiction section of the library. Some examples:

If you are accessing online resources from home, please click on the Online Resources Off Campus button on the top, left side of the page. You will need the passwords from Ms. Harker to use the resources.

Encyclopedia Britannica- Click on this link, and then click on the EB logo. Search for your topic.
Kids Search- Search for "science projects" to get ideas. Search for your topic for information.
Searchasaurus- Search "science fair"  or "science projects" to get ideas. Search for your topic for information.
World Book Online- Click on this link, and then click on the World Book Online logo. Search for your topic.
 

  Video Clips- You need a password from Ms. Harker to view these videos.

Everyday Science: Discovering the Scientific Method [20:51], gr. 3-5- Everyday occurrences are explained scientifically.
How to Prepare for Science Fair [24:02], gr. 6-8-Shows the organization of a project, as well as good project ideas. Ask Ms. Harker for the password to view this video.

  PBS' Kids: Dragonfly TV's Science Fair Plan- An easy-to-use resource for ideas and ogranization.
  Science Explorer: Exploratorium-At-Home Books- Science activities that may give you ideas for a testable question.
  IPL's Science Fair Ideas- A good source for science fair help.
