Library books are
checked out for a two week period and may be
renewed. No fines are charged for overdue books. Students with overdue,
lost, or damaged books lose check out privileges until books are paid for
or returned.

Schedule
Dover has a modified flex schedule to give students
access to the library at point-of- need. Teachers may schedule
classes in the library for lessons and research.
Teachers may send individual students or
small groups of up to 4 students to study or do research. Students need to have a library pass when coming to the
library individually or in small groups.

Volunteer
Opportunities

Students--Library Crew
* Crew meets
every afternoon (except Thursdays)
from 3:00-3:45.
The library crew is an important part of the Dover LMC.
Fifth and sixth graders apply for this position. Duties include assisting
with check out, shelving books, helping other students to find materials,
and hosting special events. Students must be passing their classes
to be on Crew.
Parents
Parent volunteers are welcome to assist in the Dover LMC
on a regularly schedule basis or for special events. Opportunities
to help include book fairs, reading promotions, and clerical duties. |
