Meet Your Librarian
As an experienced
educator, Karen House is
excited to be the librarian at Lake Highlands Junior High. She loves teens and enjoys
getting them thrilled to read and learn.
She has earned a B.A.
in History from Southern University at New Orleans and completed
her M.S. in Library Science at the University of North Texas in May,
2009. As the mother of two teenagers, her hobbies includes driving
lessons, shopping and discussions about whether or not rapping is a
true profession.
