NORTHLAKE WILDCATS

are

EXCELLENT READERS !

Come on by and say hello to Northlake's library media specialist, Ms. Bolen.

Cathryn Bolen has earned a BS in Art Education from Northern Arizona University, a Master's in Art Education from Texas Tech, and a Masters in Library Science from Texas Woman's University. This is her 5th year as a library media specialist, and her 25th year in public education. Ms. Bolen loves to read (of course), gardening, and her family.

Hours Open: 8:00 - 3:00 daily

Our library operates on a modified flexible schedule - which means that classes both have scheduled times to visit the library as well as open times that the teachers can schedule for special projects and lessons. Additionally, from 8:00 - 8:30 each morning we have open circulation time to provide time for any student needing to come to the library to do so.

Students in K-1 may check out one book at a time. All other students may check out the number of books equal to their grade level if they do not have overdue books. For example: a 5th grader may check out up to 5 books at one time. All books are checked out for two weeks, and are considered overdue beyond that point, unless they are renewed
