Per your teacher's instruction, pick a topic, make a claim, form an opinion statement and pose questions for research. 

Make sure your topic has been approved by your teacher prior to research.

 

Print Resources

 

Use the Online Catalog (blue button on the left) to search for print resources. 

When searching, select Title and Subject search.  Make sure you use the option contain to get the best results.

Once you find print options, make a note of the availability and call number.

If you need assistance locating the book, ask the library staff.

With a variety of topics being research, many different Online Resources can be used.  Below is a suggested list of resources to help you narrow down the right one.

 

If you want to use any of these resources from home, see the library staff for usernames and passwords.

This is a good source that everyone should use regardless of your topic.  It can be narrowed to search just one GALE database.  If you are having difficulty, see the librarian.

Excellent resource for searching history related topics. 

This works as an expert search engine to find good, reputable websites.

ELibrary helps locate magazine and newspaper articles.
