The mission of the Pearce High
School Library is to provide materials and resources necessary to support
and enrich the curriculum; to prepare students who are effective users of
ideas and information; and to encourage reading as a lifelong activity.

Passes |
ID Cards/Badges |

Students must have a library
permit filled out by a classroom teacher in order to come to the library
during class time.
Sign-in upon entering and stamp
the pass on the way out.
Passes are not required before
school, after school, or during lunch. |
Students must have their ID badge
with them at all times.
The first badge is free, when the
student registers, all replacement badges are $5.00.
Lanyard and badge pocket
replacement are $1.00 each. (This is included in the total replacement
cost.) |

collection, full accessible by automated computer catalog.

Copy Machine |
Circulation |
| $0.10 a page to copy. |
Most books check out for two
weeks. If they are late, it is $0.15 per day.
Reference/Reserve books check out
for overnight only. The fine is $.25 per period for late
reference/reserve materials. |

Printing |
|
Black and white printing is free
for the first ten pages. Additional pages are $0.05 per page.
Color printing is $0.25 per page. |

Computer Use |
|
All students must have a signed
Acceptable Use Policy on file to use the computers.
Personal email may not be checked
at school. If students need to print a project from their email, they
need to ask permission to access it.
Games may not be played on
library computers. Computers are for academic purposes only.

Additional Information |
|
No food or drink is permitted in
the library.
Students are responsible fro all
items check out on their ID card.
Students from scheduled classes
have priority status with the computers.
The staff is here to assist you.
