Nancy Kubasek has her BA in English and French with an MEd as a reading specialist.  She has her Learning Resource Certification.  She has been very involved in the Texas Library Association serving as the YART Chair for 2000-2001, serving as co-chair for the RISD Literary Festival, attending TALL Texans 2000, working on the Tayshas Committee for 1996 - 2000 and 2005-2007, and currently serving on the Board of Directors of Richardson Reads One Book.
