Skyview put together a scale model of the Solar System made with "found objects."  The model is to scale using a 40 foot diameter Sun. All of the objects representing the planets are "actual size" within this model.  The distance between the planets is NOT to scale however. We found that with a 40 foot diameter Sun the Earth would be nearly a mile away and Pluto would be located in Denton! Needless to say our hallway is not that long!
