Wallace uses a simple bibliography. While taking notes, students should write down the ABCD information for every source that they use. Later, they put their ABCD information onto a formal bibliography page. Look at the examples below.

Encyclopedia:

A - Author and Article title

B - Book Title

C - Company and City

D - Date published

 

Internet Site:

A - Author

B - Web page title

C - Web page address

D - Date last updated

Magazine/Newspaper

A -  Author and Article title

B - Magazine or newspaper title

C - (leave blank)

D - Date published

 

Bibliography Page Entries: (notice punctuation)

Book

Author Last Name, Author First Name. Book Title. City: Company, Date Published.

Encyclopedia

Author Last Name, Author First Name. "Article Title." Book/Encyclopedia Title. City: Company, Date Published.

Internet Site

Author Last Name, Author First Name. Web page Title. Web Page Address. Date Last Updated.

Magazine

Author Last Name, Author First Name. "Article Title." Magazine Title. Month Day, year.

Newspaper

Interview
